Dynam Meteor (beautiful ain't she?)

Often coined as the clone of the Parkzone Habu.  Dynam often makes planes that look and fly well; the Meteor is no exception.  A classic aerobatic sports plane and capable of surpassing speeds of 200km/h and beyond. It has a low wing load and is really easy to identify in the air. I had many enjoyable flights with it and so good was the experience that I had three Meteors; among which one was a gift.  A plane not easily forgotten but very forgiving to fly.  Match it with a 5S or 6S  power setup and it should please the most demanding of pilots. I recommend everyone to fly the "Meteorite".

Easytiger T-50 Golden Eagle

This was among the few models I never got round to flying.  The T-50 looks beautiful and is used in the Republic of Korea Air Force. It has a motorised canopy and retracts which made it pretty cool.  The power system swapped in was under-powered when I bought it.  To fly it would require a hefty runway that I did not had a convenient access to.

Windrider BD-5J

One of the cutest plane in the hangar.  I got the BD-5J from another RC pilot.  I did not fly it as I was advised that the plane lacks the static thrust for a regular hand launch but flies fine after being airborne.  Not wanting to risk smashing this chubby chubba model from a mishap, I decided to let it go its separate way.  It is my aim to fly the BD-5 one day!

Kyosho Illusion

A small and fast zipper.  So small and fast that I decided that I would not fly it with the piloting skills I had back then.  Sold it off to another hobby member.  Kyosho is known for quality and I do miss this plane now.  Buy another - who knows?

Super Flying Model (SFM) Hawk

SFM Hawk

Bought the SFM Hawk for a song.  It is one of the few Balsa planes in the Hangar and spreading its wings at two metres, this model takes the crown for being the longest wingspan I had flown so far.  It came with see-through iron-on covers on the wings.  Flying characteristics typical of its class with no bad tendencies.  A relaxing fly.  Easily seen in practically all weather/sky conditions.  I had since given this away to a buddy.

Skyangel F-16 Falcon (50mm)

I had flown several of the mini EDFs made popular by JPowers/Skyangel.  This F-16 Falcon is by far the lightest and quickest with a 1-1-1 IHE configuration.  Extremely easy to launch and fly.  A model to consider for those still immersing themselves with EDF powered planes.  Employs a push-pull design to actuate aileron and elevator flaps using just two servos.  The belly and cockpit floor are very thin and will not take rough landing/abuse.  A "chuckie" to keep in the car.  Assembling planes from the mini EDF/mini Warbird series are straightforward.
